Having produced dozens of gold and platinum singles and albums Jukka Backlund is considered one of the most successful record producers from Finland. He is best known for producing the Sunrise Avenue debut album 'On The Way To Wonderland' which is the best selling Finnish international debut of all times.

Jukka Backlund started studying classical piano at the age of five. He was admitted to the youth department of Sibelius Academy at the age of 13 where he studied Jazz composition, arrangement and piano. At the age of seventeen he produced his first album for a major record label. Since then he has produced several multi-platinum-selling and critically acclaimed records for Finnish and international artists. Jukka's film work includes scoring and sound design for award-winning advertisements and short films, such as 'Me - A Story Of A Performance' by MUSUTA.
